Perfect the unachievable
goal we all have
each as foolish as the next
striving never achieving
when will we see
Perfect is the unattainable
hope we all want, have,
none will ever reach
the amount of energy
we waste trying
for a concept of the impossible
if only we'd accept ourselves
if only this world was perfect
