Some truths best left unspoken.

I've locked the door to my room
In attempt to bar the world outside
I'm filled with something terrible
It reminds me so of gloom
But it's tainted with that of terror
For that outside this room
Sounds and scents sift through the walls
I'm trapped in a self-made delirium
Distraught by existence form
Life is not s dreadful
Why shudder I away from it then?
The world has lifted and let me fall
I'm trapped beneath earths crust
Safe; and free at last
Should I open now the door
Lava might flow in
Or shan't I suffocate down here
Without sunshine to brake the dim?
If I draw back the curtain
Will I see only rock and dirt?
What then; is on the other side of that wall?
If there's no source of water here
No light no fresh air...
Something has taken over me
Called by name despair
I shall die here
I shall go to hell
Or perhaps I'm already there
Because I was not satisfied
With Gods previsions
The troubles of earths crust
Now seem as heaven to me
And I miss the sunlight
The wind and the trees
If only I had another chance
To prove i really care
That I'm sorry I would not make do
With such beautiful possessions as air
The troubles of earths crust
Now seam as heaven to me
And I miss the sunlight
The wind and the trees
If only I had another chance
To prove I really care
That I'm sorry I would not make do
With such beautiful possessions as air
And life; that precious gift
I have abandoned now
I would scream
But I fear
My voice would brake the still
I snatch open the door
Ready; come what will
And wouldn't you know it!
I'm back on earths crust
With all my troubles
NO blessings!
And hell is far beneath
