What I feel
Pain electrifies my body
It strikes my heart
And stabs my stomach
Tears and sorrow pour out through the gaping wounds
Blood rushes through my pulsing veins
Making my skin feel like it's on fire
Reaching as far as my finger tips
Anger clouds my eyes
My teeth clench fiercely
They feel like they're about to break
I can't open my mouth
If I do, at any moment I could unconsciously cry
I try to steady my trembling voice
Stop my body from shaking
Clear my cry for help from my eyes
Hopefully, they won't notice
Hopefully, I can forget
Hopefully, I won't hurt anymore
My body is physically and emotionally worn out
It screams "I can't take it anymore!"
"Why do I feel like this?!?"
I wonder why I let this happen,
If I'm really "strong",
If this is the real...me
