Sometime in the fear,
a fire began to kindle
where it grew into a passionate flame.
As it roared
only one could hear its faint voice,
"Fight, fight, fight!" it whispered.
The fearful began to gain strength
obtaining the beseeching light
so many could not find.
It was if it had wings,
flying over obstacles
though their challenges went without vain.
Every moment was carved
like a story can be typed,
arousing a heavy burden.
At first the agile body
was unhindered of its weight
till fatigue became of importance.
The fire was gone
and the burden was unbearable,
soon impenetrable armor cracked
and fear set in once more.
It wasn't the fire that burned the soul,
but the burden of life.
