Love is like...
Love is like trying to call your ninth new house, home
The first time you are moved
You are joyful and thrilled
Ready for that empty space to be filled
After countless attempts of having a home
It gets hard to accept the change
This is it, together forever
I am happy
Then moving again to feel more empty space
You stand by the door
Wondering if you can take anymore
Should I step into this again?
Will my heart be safe?
If home is where your heart is where is love?
If I can open the door to so many new houses,
Why can’t I open my heart to love and be loved?
