You May Leave When You Like
You may leave when you like
Because I’ll enjoy it when you leave
Although you say you mean what you say
You say a lot you don’t mean
Your intentions may be pure
But your purity isn’t as clean
You’re true to your word
Yet your word isn’t true
You lie like a dog
And I’d trust a dog over you
You may leave when you like
Because I’ll enjoy it when you leave
You won’t pay attention
Yet attention is all you want from me
You can look me in the eye
And still tell a flawless lie
You are perfect for this type of hypocrisy
The cat seems to fail at catching your tongue
But the truth it seems to have captured
And you are beyond repair, as said even the pastor
You may leave when you like
Because I’ll enjoy it when you leave
You’re done haunting this place
So go now, you foul soul
To a place you better feast
With more lives to defy
Using your rotting lies
Digging at the flesh of truth like a hungry fly
Wishing to keep its diseases flowing; to multiply
And to spread an onslaught of truth denying
You may leave when you like
Because I’ll enjoy it when you leave
Yet your impacts will ever last
Your lies are here to stay
And it has been my pitiful life that has been put through your dismay
Leave me be while I still have some dignity
While my dignity will have to sustain
It seems your lies allowed it to be my life that has this stain
You may leave when you like, but take your writhing lies along
For you have hurt this world for far too long
