I Will Hope
Crisis. Catastrophe. Chaos.
I am unsure what will happen. But I know
to trust.
I’m not certain what happened to me.
All I understand is that I was flying down the streets, air blowing in my hair. Then
CRASH.
My world stopped. All went black.
I tremble on the inside, I cannot tremble on the outside, but I know
To trust.
And I will… trust those who
Are crying
Are praying
Are helping
And are hoping for me.
This gives me courage to hope too.
I see the helicopter, like tangible hope rising in the east. Help is coming soon.
Just hold on. I will make it… I must, for all those around me I will hold on.
Forget the pain, just focus on the hope, and the trust, and the love.
For, tomorrow will come and be a better day.
The sun will rise again
Bringing new hope.
