Stop!
The screeching in my ear,
The clawing at my skin,
I know I’m not your perfect,

So why must you try to make it so?
Stop!
I can’t take it,
I don’t know what to do,
I’m lost,
And alone,
And so very confused,
I know I’m not your perfect,
So why must you try to make it so?
Stop!
Only a sea of despair surrounds me now,
Only thoughts of not knowing myself,
Swim in my head now,
My eyes are closed,
For if I open them,
I know I won’t recognize her now.
I know I’m not your perfect,
So why must you make it so?
Stop!
I float among the nothingness now,
Around the wreckage of the death of her,
Of your perfect,
And I smile,
For its now time for a birth,
A rebirth of me,
Where the thoughts of before wont plague me.
I know I’m not your perfect,
So why must you make it so?
Stop!
It’s about time I changed things,
Go down the path to being my own,
Definition of perfect.
I know I’m not your perfect,
So why must you make it so?

I really liked this, and I loved the repetition. :)
