"Too Anxious"
I watch the clock go tick tock
As I wait, feeling like it's forever
Only looking ahead; what happened earlier, I can't remember
All I feel is the blood rushing through my veins
Adrenaline takes away any nervous pains
Seconds feel like minutes, and minutes like hours
Think positive, negativity will only make me feel devoured
 Failure results in angst
But the adversity is where one gains their strength
I keep pushing, but try to stay patient
In need of rest, time's a wastin'
But I'm on an energy surge
 And my mind's rampant
This isn't going how I planned it
I look up and pray for one last wish
How is it that my nerves stop budging, but I'm still so anxious?
