Hope in the Wreck
Tears come
co his eyes,
as he dwells
upon his home.
Never said
goodbye,
to the place
he's known
forever.
The wreckage
that surrounds him,
creates a cloud
of dust.
Through the
musky scatter,
he hears a
firework burst.
It breaks into
a million pieces,
lighting up
the sky.
And he steps
over the rubble,
sparks dazzling
in his eyes.
