Loading Bar
A slave to the loading bar;
That’s all this generation has become.
Myself being a part of it,
Knows this all too well.
If the bar doesn’t fill fast enough
We scream, fuss, and shout.
“Faster! Faster! Faster”
We say that knowing we have no control.
The loading bar is the master of our computers.
The slower it loads
The more it beats us with its whip of boredom;
Trying to force us into submission.
But we resist.
The pharaoh taunts us with
A sudden jump in the percentage.
But there has been no change.
The pharaoh is a cruel ruler.
For when you think you have bested hum
In his game of waiting
There was an error, and he laughs at you.
So you refresh the page,
Knowing who the true master is.
