Soft clicking.
Tolerable.
Growing into a screeching.
Annoyed.
Paying more attention.
Thousands of bees buzzing in my ear.
Unbearable.
Earsplitting, torturous.
Head cracking open.
So loud I can't think straight.
I'm leaning my head against a jet engine.
Then all I hear
Is a deafening silence.
