"Go out on a limb..isn't that where the ripest fruit is?"

You are nothing like me,
I am nothing like you.
We are two different species,
In two different zoos.

I don’t commit evil.
I don’t commit crimes.
I try to help people have good lives.

Your evil, untamed and wild as can be.
You don’t like people but you still love me.

I try to be the best I can be.
I work so hard and I love that people love me.
So watch out tiger because I am ready.

I don’t care what you do.
I don’t care what you say.
I don’t let people bring me down and I like it that way.

You make a big scene, with your teeth and your claws.
The problem is that you can’t accept your flaws.
I hope that one day your heart will thaw.

I am tamed and free.
I can be wild but I don’t want to be.
I’m just like you without the personality.

I know that you feel wrong about others.
Sometimes it’s very hard to love each other.
And sometimes it’s hard to love yourself, let alone everyone else.

So I know I have to learn from you
Instead of you learning from me,
But now I am begging on my knees.

Daddy, try to learn from me please.

Children are always expected to learn from their parents but a lot of times parents can learn a lot from their kids too.
