The Dangerous Dead
Choked by the clouds,
Suffocated by the dew,
Murdered from the rain.
A suffering heartbeat beneath the flesh,
Awakened from a venomous sleep.
Pain inside the veins,
Stinging the project’s nerves.
No hero
Not a Savior in sight,
Just a Hell being inhabited,
By a person’s broken heart.
Chased by monsters,
Sucked dry by leaches,
Eaten alive by cannibals.
No more, for they are demonic!
The dangerous dead.
Words unspoken by all,
As they look on, past the blood.
Never said a sound, never spoke a beat.
Now they dance in the flames,
Of guilt, of shame.
Their hearts now broken and scathed.
