As the World Turns
And the world spins in an enormous
Intergalactic path throughout the universe
But your life is here right now watching the hearse
Drive by you with a fated lover shot dead in a drive by
You have no stomach just an empty feeling where
One used to be but is no longer. Ive been there but it made
Me stronger and now im strong. I can move mountains and
Part the ocean like moses from the bible or moses from
The railroad smuggling people to freedom in the north but
I have no slaves to smuggle and you have no reason to part oceans
That you would rather sink to the bottom of with a great weight
The weight of your past the weight of your future the weight of
What everyone wants you to feel or wants you to think but I say
Think what you want and feel what you want and become the object
Of your own desire, shrinking the great big universe down to size from
A blob of stars and planets on an intergalactic path to a simple world spinning
On its poles. Your world, your poles, your own spin.
