Dirt stained palms

Knees pulled to her chin
Head buried
Tiredness shining through
After a hard day’s work

Yard work for her elders
A trip to the park
With a guy
Who admires her deeply
There they sat

She pulled a flower
He did too
Two dandelions tied together
