Favorite Quote:
Things have to get worse before they get better.

When I get to be a thinker
I’ll put it in all my résumés
that I’m practiced
in philosophy

When I get to be a thinker
I’ll sit
in my thinking spot
reserved
for only the hardest thinkers of all

When I get to be a thinker
I won’t take any notes
when I think
because all greatest thinkers know
that the best thoughts
are thought up only
to give birth to an idea
like a phoenix from the ashes
of the previous thought
that births
a new thought
that births
an idea.

I thought a lot about how to write this poem before I actually wrote it. It was tough coming up with a more original type of "when I grow up I wanna be..."
I wrote this in school last year.
