A wave of anger
Washes over
Giving up a love
For simple fun
I know I have no chance
To share with her that dance
But to be by her side...
A joy that's hard to hide
She doesn't love me
I know she doesn't see
How much it pains me
To just... wait and see
I love her
But she's unsure
It rips my heart
To not be part
Of her life, her love
So further down I shove
My emotions, eat my words
Chest exploding as a flock of birds
