Dear Heartbreaker...
Dear Heartbreaker,
I just wanted to ask
why in the world did you talk to me
out of the blue
like that?
And make me fall in love with you so badly that I would stay up until three in the morning just to talk to you?
And wait for your texts and you calls and you smiles?
Why did you take me by the hand only to
tell me all about her,
how perfect she is?
Why did you make me cry in my bedroom listening to Taylor Swift?
Well, she can have you.
She can have who you'll make her think you are.
She can have who you really are, too.
Because at this point, I'm going to untangle the memories of you and I from my mind.
How you gave me that beautiful birthday gift.
How you drove me around in your shiny white car,
with music flowing from the speakers.
How you threw your head back when you laughed at my jokes.
Because at this point, my dear heartbreaker,
I just want my heart back.
