You've seen a stranger
Looking for a familiar face is easy
Find a pair of eyes you’ve memorized
Seek parted lips that you’ve often dreamt of
Search a place you’ve known forever and on
Maybe you met her once in the park near the apple tree
Perhaps you saw him on the corner of the bookstore
But what if you ventured through a crowd
In a place you’ve never been quite familiar with
And in seeking this new place, you found an unfamiliar face
With a set of unexplored eyes
And a pair of un-parted lips
And you turn your head to watch her walk
As you’ve never done with a familiar face
And you know you’ve seen a stranger
