Hush.
Whispers
Tingle up my spine, conducive to give away
My secret.
Hush
Before pristine becomes culpable
And the eyes that pinpoint souls
Begin to dart unconsciously.
Hush
As the night falls into the earth’s abyss
And everlasting light becomes fatal
So we must shield ourselves from revelations
Hush
When the butterfly’s flight seizes to exist
Only in dreams—but still an ephemeral sight
And colors fade to white.
Hush
For those who welcome silence
Forced to hear whispers resound loudly in their heads,
Screaming in agony.
Hush
So we may transcend the boundaries
Gripping us tightly
Refusing to let go.
