"All I ever learned from love was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you"

Yesterday

I skipped through fields of flowers

Frequently flashing the breeze a smile

Petals in my hair

Chocolate in my heart

The world in my hands.

Today

I lay down on the kitchen floor

Letting teardrops roll onto the tiles

Nothing in my hair

Nothing in my heart

Nothing in the world.

It's strange how one day you can almost taste the love around you and the next you are all alone. This poem relates to a lot of different issues in my life.

Life is a maybe. Death is for sure. Sin is the cause. Christ is the cure. :)

Love is the breath of God, and prayer is the melody that makes it sing.

Love is overrated, marry for money.

Oh wow, I really like this! I love how it's very relatable, and I like the idea in it! Nice job!
