Alderman
One who tries to break silence,
One who seeks to bring peace.
I miss the debates,
The hard up competition.
It still pushes me up with some small ounce of strength that comes with what was once now.
There's wars going on, and all sorts of unrest.
I suppose life's supposed to get harder.
I have no comfort for these people in my care.
If I had one wish
From an angel above
I'd go back to the day with my back against a tree...
Dreaming of now.
I would decide to go without.
But there's work to be done,
Inspiration to give,
And I can't be sure of what bomb will explode next
Starting to think that chivalry might be dead
Starting to think that the only way of being strong is accepting you have to be weak before.
