The emptiness stretches on thru empty house
The doors are closed
Begging to be opened
I stand alone in this entry way, the shadows chase my thru the halls
Yet I do not hide behind these doors in these empty rooms
For what may lay behind them is still a mystery

This is really good, and I like the symbolism. Your spelling could use a bit of help, however. :)
