The Fire MAG
When the sky turns dark, and the sun runs to hide behind the Earth
The stars on my ceiling glow
I close my eyes
I am so very tired
Monsters with claws so like hands grip me till I bruise
They drag me down to the pit in Hell to watch you burn away
Your tears and wails melt into the fire
I can't speak
I can't scream
I can't save you
The fire sears my eyes and my world goes blind
Glowing stars appear before my eyes
Tears are trailing down my cheeks
I turn onto my side and plug in earphones to pump music that is harsh and real to numb me
I cannot save you
You cannot save yourself
And in my dreams, I am forced to watch you burn.
