the truth is not an empty space waiting to be fill
truth is not a dream you take to heart
truth is what did and what you really did see
the truth is the opposite of a lie
not made up or multiplied
truth is not your story book
or a game well played
truth is a chance to say what needs to be said
your life's new stage
don't mess with the truth
how would you feel being lied to
good
bad
happy
or sad
truth is all the above may be questioned
don't take chances to tell a lie when the time is near
for the truth is what you really fear
