home alone

Its scary and its cold,
its making me tremble inside.
Im helpless and home alone,
my parents are not by my side
There is someone in my house.
I can hear the floorboards creak,
running outside would be a mistake
There is noone in the street
My family left without me.
They have gone somewhere overseas.
They wont be back in time,
To see me collapse to my knees.
That person will find me.
But he wont catch me tonight.
See im a clever little kid
And i will give this guy a fright
