I knew what you were thinking, when you looked into her face
You leave your thoughts behind, burning a path I can trace
A path that never diverges nor contains ridges and bumps
All one can hear, is the dagger going thump, thump, thump
Words bounce up and down and back to their sticky nest
Where schemes are contrived but then left to rest
Reason and purpose are ostracized
Thoughts and consequences not formalized
Words without meaning become induced
To a point where they have been let loose
Within seconds you have infringed upon her space
Visibly changing the expression swiped across her face
