Nothing Comes Easy

Write away the pain.
Doesn't it feel good?
Wipe away the tears.
Don't cry, sweetheart.
I will kiss away the sorrow.
I will take your sadness
And wash it away.
Do not wallow in pity,
My dearest one,
For the happiness has yet to come.
The waves will only grow stronger
Before dying down to none.
Keep your head up
Above the tide
And sunny days
Are sure to come your way.
