What I have become.
October 11, 2011
I've disarmed my gun and shattered my sword.
Lost my anger and painted my war.
I've learned to love and how to forgive.
But lost myself in the torn pieces within.
The tears I cry, the blood I've lost, every single thing I've thought, just a token of my regret.
The regret I hold,
hold within my aching heart.
It stays inside, like a shadow,
a shadow beneath my soul.
It conquers my faith, my strength, and slowly my mind then my soul.
I am nothing but the darkness it's made and left behind.
but this choice to stay,
is a choice of mine.
