"Sometimes I believe in as many as six impossible things before breakfast" - Lewis Carroll

I was touched by a monster.
Pinned down again,
I'm hating him.
Plunged into a world of fear,
I hate it here.
Just forget it all,
Forget it all.
I was touched by a monster.
I have no control at all,
My innocence is gone,
His power over me,
Will never let me be.
I want to be free,
Please, let me free.
I was touched by a monster.
Can never forget,
Will never forgive,
All those dreadful years,
Those dreaded tears.
I was touched by a monster.

This is a poem inspired by true events that happened to me as a child. I'm sure there are others who can relate, and I'm sorry for that. FYI: These things don't happen to me anymore and were taken care of long ago.
