Where did my past go?
Back when my mom knew less
and my dad wasn’t obsessed
with being depressed
and didn’t spit out and profess
all of these things
I don’t need to know.
I’m trying to grow
but there is no water,
only fire.
Burning all of the memories

blinding- I can’t see
anything that used to be
around me.
