You must first learn the rules, so that you can break them

Oh,
The essentiality
Of my ascension,
To the capacious leas
Over looking becalmed seas,
'Pon gnarling ledges...
'Pon gnarling ledges,
To escape the calamity
That fondly
Once was anomaly
To me
My mind
Became unkind
My thoughts like gnarling ledges
Jagged dredges
'Neith capacious leas
Hiding now voracious seas
Which no one else but I sees!
All of this I wish away
I wish myself to sweet old Innesfree
To be free...
Free of me.
Yet I fear, with terror, if I were to blink
Reality would rush upon me

Thanks! I appreciate it. Reading this makes me wish I had stuck with this website, I haven't contributed in so long. I forgot about this poem but I feel it has potential. Any suggestions?
