On all four walls
I painted my emotions on all four walls
 And locked you in
But you over looked them like
 You over looked inner beauty
So I wrote my emotions on sticky notes
I placed them in places I knew you would see
 The glove box
Where you place your wedding ring when you’re on your way to her house
The back seat of your car
Where I found the pair of underwear
But at night you didn’t see them
So while you slept I wrote my emotions on your body in pen
Covering your arms, legs, neck, fingers, and toes
But you washed them off when you took a shower
So I engraved my emotions on your heart.
You woke up in an empty bed
Stretching your arms miles out but it was too late
With every step I took further away from you
My emotions showed up on your heart
Like the scars on my inner thighs every time you left
Showing you how much I truly loved you
 And now you can see
 On all four walls
 In the darkest of places
And stained on the bottom of the bathtub
How much you meant to me.
