Tears of the Storm
What if
Our tears fell from the sky
Just like rain on a stormy day
As sadness overwhelms you
A cloud hovers over your head
The gray puffs take over your soul
With each emotion a small, cold drip falls on my head
It begins with a light drizzle
Then the cloud releases its anger
With a loud boom
This light rain soon becomes weighted down with sadness
The pounding of the thunder is your heartbeat
For when you are afraid the thunder grows
You are filled with rage
The storm consumes you
You want the storm calm
So you learn to control your emotions
You want the sun to shine
So you let your smile shine
Happiness is more present than ever
The storms rage is gone.
