Broken
You meant a lot to me
 Love? I cannot yet say
For I hardly knew you, barely at all
But yet you brightened my day

 You did not want this
What I wanted to be with you
For there was another in your heart
You loved more; you know this is true

Everyone says we should be together
But for her your heart has fought
It saddens me, being led on
I want to be angry, but yet I am not

For it is not a sin of yours
I myself have done the same
But no matter how fine your reasons are
It does not subside the pain

I will continue to hold on to the hope I have
My heart will remain yours as a token
But I will never forget, dearest one
That this heart you have also broken
