That Yellow Rose
That yellow rose on my dresser
A memory of you
I miss all the days we had together
I lost all of my time with you
I was so lucky to have you in my life
Even for a short period of time
I miss you so much
But your death crossed the line
I thought maybe it wasn't true
You couldn't be dead
None of this was really happening
It was all in my head
This really made me realize
I don't have it easy
Your death started that pain I call my life
It started to go down hill and nothing was breezy
But that yellow rose helps me get by
