I'm looking for someone new
Someone not quit like you
I wanna see good all around me
And not feel like I'm drowning
I want to make a break for it
And run from the dungeons
That you have kept me in for so long
I'm going to be gone
Now that I can feel the warm glow
Of the sun, I know I don't have to shun
Off painful memories
Cause I'm free from the chains
You used to hold me down with
I'm becoming something new
Instead of thinking about you
I can hear the music playing
And I don't need you to make me happy
Cause I've found someone new!
