Eyes
Black as the night sky
Bored into mine

Searching for something
Anything
Looking for the pathway to my soul

Hands
Caressing mine
Memorizing
Feeling each indentation

Words
From the heart
Awaken mine

The understanding of love
There's love in those eyes
Only I can see

For he covers it well
Too well
But I know thee

For he does not know
What I have seen
What I know

I know there is love in those eyes
Because I know the truth
The truth that will set us both free

The author's comments:
I hope that this will spark memories in a relationship. This is for someone who is afraid to love someone else, and the narrator is saying I know you do just admit it.
