Captured by the Thing
Inside a box of glass
I bang against the side
To try to make you hear me
You eyes flicker briefly
Towards my direction
But immediately the Thing
Takes your attention
I scream your name
I yell for help
The box is getting smaller
I'm panicking and my heart
Beats strong and fast
I can almost hear it saying,
"Hurry, hurry! It's coming!"
I spread my arms out
To try and protect me
But the Thing breaks my grip
I'm squeezed down to nothing
And you don't even see
That while I'm dying
I screaming out
For you.
