MISUNDERSTOOD
Misunderstood, that’s what I am.
I try to listen, but it’s all sound in my head.
Simply beautiful, if you could just understand.
Unless, you don’t want too.
Nothing, I can’t comprehend.
Despite what you say, I know you feel pain.
Enough to know, we are close to the same.
Reversed in a spiral column, but heading in the same direction.
Say you don’t care, I know it’s not true.
Try to deny it, it will always be you.
Open your eyes, and you might be surprised.
Open your heart, and you might see my plight.
Deep down, inside.
