Afterimage
I can see you
Can you see me?
You say I hate you
I bite my tongue
Too keep from saying
How much I envy you
The way you walk
Not a care in the world
We're all drawn
Like moths to a lonely light
Why can I see you?
Your facade is so
See-through
Don't look at me
I won't look back
But I see you
When I close my eyes
Please don't be my afterimage
You say you can see me
But you can't
All you see is yourself
