my dear god
are
you
there?
should i bother
to
capitalize
you? or
only he,
and him,
and his,
but never
she?
who says
you
are the divine power,
the holy one,
our savior,
my lord? (or is that
from the days of king arthur?)
the same
who jailed
women and those
who believed
otherwise?
who lied,
who killed,
who beat and stole
and pointed their stubby fingers with their filth-caked
nails at those they thought immoral?
when all along
three fingers
pointed back at
Them.
