Just A Dream
Was just a frightened little girl
Sitting on the concrete curb
Couldn’t make friends easily
Was afraid she wouldn’t live her dreams
Waiting for the bus one day
Looks up to the sky and prays
Finds herself in another world
In a place that isn’t as cold
Walking down a long street
Smells the warm air
It was sweet
Wanted to stay there for a while
Was a place where she didn’t want to cry
Turned around to a glorious view
Saw it before
It was nothing new
She felt that she was there before
Walked through some sort of magical door
Opens up her eyes once again
To find herself in the same place she had been
Oh shucks
She knew it was just a dream
She is waiting for it to happen again
