Our scars remind us of where we've been, they don't have to dictact where we're going

Morbid peace did once consume
As lasting words wrote farewell
Stowed away
Sliver hoped never to remember
Unforgettable
Simply a press for revelations
Angrily marked execution
Daunting surrender
Penned away the finality
Light-hearted? Heartless
Drenching depths
Moment’s clarity shone
Disguised plea echoed silenced screams
Voided discovery
H*** bent terror, clouded. Reason
Voices to abandoned gallows
Confined not impending release
Still lingers Lonely’s longing
Shared shards should still pierce
Sands dispel the impossible
Noticed not now
Instead of progress pending
Proved
Voices resemble
Missing pieces still attempt to assemble
Things come to past
Turn not away
Still stand accept
Being one in the same
Mirror images, deflect
Written works considered
Evidence for obvious
Amazement marvels
Mostly left to fade
Though turmoil are differences made

This poem was inspired by the rereading of my old suicide letters
