Favorite Quote:
Our scars remind us of where we've been, they don't have to dictact where we're going

Reflexion of disappointment
Nothing but a failure, stares
Quick choice, Old enemy
Thought vanquished, arrives
Vile slimy foe, dwelling within
Determination of youth
Rushes towards a naive solution
To Master of something, anything
The sergeant signals retreat
Twinge at the tickle
Bodily insistency
Rushing to achieve its goal
Exhilaration faints away
A limp fugitive
Waits to receive a sentence
For the betrayal, of an old alliance
Scarred throat is set ablaze
Descent onto the glacial stone
Thoughts plague, to no end
Coughing up guilt
Enduring the endless destruction
Obscured behind a locked threshold
Anonymous remains
The Suffering of the Thickset

"coughing up guilt"

I loved that line. This poem was so articulate and had a sense of awareness about yourself
