My lips move
smiling peacefully
the winds sings
i float gently

can i leave this reality
from the boredom of class
to a place to dream
until the shadows pass

No worries no concerns
so this is what its like to fly
happiness so close to insanity
free, feel so alive

the world's so sharp
crime lingers in the breeze
for some tears will never fall
because daydreams can never be
reality

Ive never written a poem before so that's my excuse if its terrible.Its really just about me and other people who daydream all the time but know some of it probably wont come true

I thought this was really good! It had a nice flow to it.
