"The Situation"
The nothingness,
It consumes him,
there's no spark,
no laugh,
no smile,
like you talking to a brick wall,
there's no feeling in him,
except one,
terror,
terror of what he's about to do,
terror of making a wrong move,
terror that someone will stop him,
terror that someone will change his mind,
palms sweaty,
knee's shaking,
he looks at the clock one last time,
he just can't live without her,
without her presence,
without her sunshine,
he looks down at his hand,
of what he's holding,
of what he's about to do,
he lifts it up,
takes a hard swallow,
takes a deep breath,
and says,"I do."
