Psalm
These tears are in my eyes
I’m sick of all these lies
 The pain keeps building up
Till it releases from the skies

I’ve sat in the darkness alone
Not knowing that I was prone
 To sadly ask these questions
While you sit up on your throne

But up is where you are
So I look up at the stars
And I ask you for your help
Can you mend my broken heart

And you treat me like your child
Looking at me through eyes mild
And you shared with me your peace
and for the first I smiled
