I was inspired to write this poem by a bully. I was being bullied verbally and I couldn't help but believe the rude comments she was telling me. I didn't think I could go on. With the rumors she was spreading and the names she was calling me I knew I couldn't handle it, but I told myself to be strong and stay true. I would be myself and ignore the things she w=told me because I knew deep down in my heart that they weren't true. That day I finally realized how horrible girls can be. Because of this bully I learned what an effect I was to my peers. I saw how she was treating me and how bad it hurt me and i didn't want anyone one else to feel that way. I learned how carefully I must speak to the people around me because anything can change from a tiny joke, to a huge deal. I learned what an effect I play to my peers. Who knew I would learn such a lesson from a bully.
